The Perfect Autumn Arch Beer Pairings For Your Thanksgiving Table

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and give thanks for everything (and everyone) you are grateful for. It is a time to spend with the people you love, to enjoy good food, and of course, to indulge in a few good beers.

This year, be sure to impress your guests with a variety of Autumn Arch beers to enhance the Thanksgiving dining experience for everyone (responsibly, of course!)

From our family to yours, here are a few suggestions for your Thanksgiving classics.

Cheers!
Dan, Jimmy and Kathryn

TURKEY

The main star of the Thanksgiving feast. Deep fried or oven roasted, there’s no wrong decision here, just be sure to bring the right beer.   Hallowed Winter Imperial Stout is a go-to for Dan, especially during the turkey frying process.
“One stout for each turkey fried.  That’s the rule.” - Dan Vennard

STUFFING

Bag stuffing or homemade...that is the question.  And we’ll judge you on this decision.  Take a shortcut on this one and go big with a beer - Pixel Intensity Triple IPA.  The bread will balance the high ABV and get you to the final course.

VEGETABLES

This might be controversial, but sexy vegetable sides are what takes Thanksgiving dinner to the next level.  Jimmy prefers roasted Brussels Sprouts.  By this point in the meal, Aunt May is ready to tell you what she really thinks about the last election, so it’s appropriate to be sipping Diversity of Thought - Session Hazy IPA...a good reminder that not everyone thinks the same as you!

MASHED POTATOES

Do the Mashed Potatoes a la James Brown.  Pulsar Navigation Golden Sour brings a tartness to contrast a homogeneous potato mash.

PUMPKIN or APPLE PIE

Anyone for a La Mode?  Don’t hold back here.  Thanksgiving dinner is nearly complete and everyone is turning towards the next holiday.  Jump in front with Crown Yules German Holiday Lager.  Inspired by Dresden Stollen holiday cake, this beer is a sweet way to wind down the evening.
